Yesterday, the UN Commission on the Status of Women convened for its 64th session for a procedural meeting. Beyond the opening statements, the meeting allowed for the adoption of the Political Declaration. Member States also had the opportunity to deliver position statements on the Political Declaration. A link to a webcast of the session is available here. Negotiations on the Multi-Year Program of Work were completed last week, and the document will be adopted on Friday, March 13.
