We are seeking an individual who brings proven knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, together with a sound understanding of UK financial regulations and compliance requirements. The successful candidate will ideally be a professionally qualified accountant with a minimum of five years’ business and financial experience gained in a managerial capacity and will be confident interpreting and extracting information from accounting software to produce clear, accurate reports. Practical experience of Microsoft Excel and banking platforms is essential, while experience of Xero would be advantageous. Above all, we are looking for someone who demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a steadfast commitment to ethical standards. The ideal candidate will embrace cultural sensitivity, inclusiveness and respect for diversity, while sharing and championing the mission, vision and values of Soroptimist International. Resilient, pragmatic and adaptable, they will be committed to maintaining high standards and supporting positive change, helping to ensure the organisation continues to make a meaningful and lasting impact.
