At the AI for Good Global Summit 2026, Soroptimist International proudly led the high-level roundtable Women in AI: Leadership, Innovation and Growth, demonstrating our commitment to the SI pillars of Empowerment and Education.

With opening remarks from SI President Renata Trottmann-Probst, H.E. Ambassador Deike Potzel, and Ms Chidi King (ILO), and moderated by Tania Gomez, the event brought together leaders from member states, industry, civil society and youth across nine interactive discussion tables.

Each table was facilitated by one expert and one soroptimist to ensure fluent conservations. The discussions produced practical recommendations, from universal AI literacy and lifelong learning for all women and girls to ethical AI, safer digital spaces, gender-responsive workplaces and stronger pathways for all women into AI leadership.

One message resonated throughout the event: change is intentional. Several discussion groups also recognised that global networks such as Soroptimist International are among the strongest advocates for all women and girls in shaping an inclusive AI future.

As AI continues to transform our world, SI remains committed to ensuring all women and girls are not only included in that future, but that they help lead it. We make change together!
