SI are posting a special series of blog posts introducing some
of brilliant key note and plenary speakers who will be appearing at
Convention. In the past few days, the final two speakers have been
announced. Today we feature the final  speaker in our mini series, Lee Graff. 

As a Corrective Makeup Specialist at the CosMedic Clinic in a leading
Canadian hospital, Lee Graff experimented with many commercially
available products to help her patients with a variety of skin
disorders, burns, scars and discolourations cover the flaws which
affected their self-esteem and kept them in social isolation.

She searched extensively for products that would offer her patients
therapeutic benefits, environmental protection, match each patient’s
skin tone with a single shade and achieve a totally natural look. The
products she wanted to offer her patients would be free of irritants
and suitable for even the most sensitive, intolerant skins.

Finding no existing products to meet these standards, Lee began the
development of Cover FX with Dr. Neil Shear, Chief of Dermatology at
the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center and Chemical Engineer Jenny
Frankel. Lee co-created and is president of the Cover FX brand of total
coverage cosmetics which has become dermatologists’ 1st choice for
flawless-looking skin.

Lee continues to run the CosMedic Clinic helping people cope
with various skin disorders and improving the quality of their lives
with corrective makeup.
