With the financial support of Soroptimistdiploma and 197 gained diplomas in tailoring and 90 Clubs in Belgium, WCP was able to launch a projectreceived diplomas in culinary art.whichaimstoprovidetrainingtochildrenandyoung domestic and vulnerable workers who have feweropportunities.Thisprojectwillnotonly combattheviolencethatmanyoftheseyoung people face, but it will also raise awareness among thepoliticalandadministrativeauthoritiesand advocatetohelpthoseinasectorwhichis frequently invisible or hidden due to the status and age of those who work in the sector. The project firststartedin2013,butadaptingtotheSDGs framework,theprojectworkstoaddress inequalities, inclusive economic growth and decent workforall,andensuresinclusiveandequitable qualityeducation,bycreatingasafeeducational environmentthatmeetscurrentstandardsofinclusive and sustainable growth.With the success of the project, the school is set to Soroptimist Clubs in Belgium, recognising that manyexpandwithhighdemandthetwoclassrooms of the young and vulnerable domestic workers inhavebecomecramped.Theglobalnorth-south Uvira are young women and girls and that many ofpartnershipbetweenWCPandSoroptimistsin thesewillbelivingindomesticservitudeorinBelgium is set to continue, with the ambition being conditionsofmodernslavery,collaboratedwithto expand the school and build a second floor to WCP to help equip the school. Frequently, straineddoubletheircapacityandtosupportevenmore localresourcesmeanthatglobalnorth-southyoung women and girls escape from domestic work partnerships, like this one, can facilitate the rapidand access education.acquisition of much needed equipment.
