The SI President plays a pivotal role in shaping the global vision and impact of Soroptimist International. As the organisation’s chief ambassador and strategic leader, the President unites members, champions initiatives that empower all women and girls, and represents Soroptimist values on the world stage.
Since the founding of the very first Soroptimist club in Oakland, California in 1921, Soroptimist International (SI) has sought to bring about change to the lives of women and girls worldwide. Now, we have five international Federations, nearly 66,000 members and Clubs in 118 countries and territories.

Soroptimists are a global network of women dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls through education, empowerment, and advocacy. They run and support projects that support access to education, end gender-based violence, and promote economic independence.
Renata Trottmann Probst is Soroptimist International President for 2026–2027, leading the organisation’s global advocacy under the Focus Theme “Her Health – Our Future.” An experienced Soroptimist and accomplished leader, she is committed to strengthening SI’s structures, amplifying women’s voices, and ensuring a sustainable, future‑oriented movement.
Soroptimist International consists of five Federations: Soroptimist International of the Americas, Soroptimist International Africa Federation, Soroptimist International of Europe, Soroptimist International Great Britain & Ireland and Soroptimist International South East Asia Pacific.
